Stephen Strasburg Throws Bullpen Session Friday
3 years agoWashington Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg (neck) threw a 51 pitch bullpen session on Friday. He continues to ramp up his activity as the 32-year-old works his way back from a neck strain. The 2019 World Series MVP has been sidelined since June 2. Strasburg owns a 4.57 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and a 21:14 K: BB across 21 2/3 innings in 2021. The Nationals will be cautious with Strasburg, who spent time on the IL earlier in the year with a shoulder injury. Barring any setbacks, Strasburg will face live hitting next before heading out for a rehab assignment. Fantasy managers should continue to stash him on the IL for now.
