Stephen Strasburg Struggles in Return to Mound on Friday
6 years agoWashington Nationals right-hander Stephen Strasburg was rocked for six runs on eight hits in only 4 2/3 innings during Friday's loss to the Atlanta Braves. Strasburg was making his first start since June 8 and clearly showed some rust. On a positive note, the 30-year-old punched out six batters and tossed 64 of his 98 pitches for strikes. Be patient with the Washington ace, who still sports a 3.90 ERA on the season despite the loss on Friday.
