Stephen Strasburg Earns No-Decision Thursday

Washington Nationals starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg pitched 5 2/3 innings on Thursday, leading to a no-decision. Strasburg faced a potent Cubs lineup that only managed to score three runs off of him (two earned). Although he allowed nine baserunners, he minimized damage as much as possible and struck out six. This start was Strasburg's third in a row with exactly two earned runs, and while that may not be too notable, at least he's been consistent. He's not exactly putting up the ace production one paid for, but at least he's "startable". His next start comes on Tuesday in Philadelphia in what could be a fruitful matchup.
