Stephen Strasburg Being Moved To Friday
5 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg will be pushed back a day to start on Friday against the Braves, with Erick Fedde going on Thursday against the Phillies. Strasburg has allowed at least five earned runs in two of three starts this month to the White Sox and Nationals, so perhaps Washington felt like he needed an extra day. Overall though, Stras has been very solid for his fantasy owners in 2019, going 7-4 with a 3.75 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 115 strikeouts in 96 innings over 15 starts. Injuries have usually been his weakness, but the 30-year-old right-hander has pretty much been a must-start in fantasy leagues this year. That shouldn't change despite the tough matchup against Atlanta on Friday.
