Stephen Piscotty To Have MRI On Sunday
5 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Stephen Piscotty (knee) left Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Angels in the sixth inning after suffering a sprained right knee while sliding into second base. He will have an MRI on Sunday to determine the severity of his injury, although manager Bob Melvin said the team is optimistic he didn't tear anything. "It was scary, obviously," Melvin said. Fantasy owners will want to reserve him in all fantasy leagues, as a sprained knee likely will lead to a stint on the 10-day injured list.
