Stephen Curry Overcomes A Rough Start Against Denver
3 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry had a miserable start to Tuesday's matchup against Denver but managed to get 21 second-half points to lead the team with 23 points in an 89-86 loss. He shot 5-for-14 from deep, becoming the first player in league history with 3,000 three-point makes, and finished 6-for-16 overall from the field with four rebounds, four assists and six turnovers. The team produced an awful first-half performance, but they managed to claw back into the game and will look to start much better in Thursday's rematch. This is actually a good matchup for Curry because Denver owns pretty poor defensive numbers against opposing point guards.
