3 years agoThe Pittsburgh Steelers plan to host Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral and Nevada quarterback Carson Strong on Thursday. While Pittsburgh is taking a closer look at quarterbacks, they have options. After signing Mitchell Trubisky to a two-year deal, they do not necessarily need someone who can take the reins right away. It would not at all be surprising if Pittsburgh landed a quarterback on Day 1 or Day 2 of the draft, but they have glaring holes with their offensive line and run defense that need to be addressed with urgency. Corral is certainly seen as having a stronger quarterback pedigree than Strong, but if the team addresses other needs early, then Strong could be a fit as a Day 2 pick for the Steelers.--Dessy John
