1 year agoNew York Mets outfielder Starling Marte is not in the lineup for Saturday's contest against the San Francisco Giants. Marte was also absent from the lineup for Friday's game so Jeff McNeil is starting in right field in his place. The team should provide some kind of an update on Marte this weekend but there's been no indication that he's injured. Overall, the 34-year-old outfielder is slashing just .253/.305/.329 with four home runs, 24 RBI, and 21 stolen bases over 277 at-bats on the year.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
