2 months agoNew York Mets outfielder Starling Marte (forearm) will remain out of the starting nine on Sunday due to a forearm injury. However, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reported that the X-rays came back negative, which is a great sign for the 35-year-old. Marte was hit by a pitch on his forearm during Saturday's game but has avoided a significant injury. As a result, Tyrone Taylor will cover right field this afternoon and bat in the eight-hole. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to the Mets lineup on Monday evening, as Marte could return. Over his past 17 games, he has held a .241 average but has stolen three bases. Taylor has posted a mere .182 average across his past nine games and should be left out of your DFS lineup this afternoon.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
