6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman David Freese is returning to the lineup on Thursday for the start of a series against the Chicago Cubs. Outfielder Starling Marte will also return after a day off. Catcher Francisco Cervelli will sit, while Elias Diaz gets the start behind the plate. Colin Moran and Adam Frazier are sitting as well, with Freese returning to third base and Marte, Corey Dickerson, and Gregory Polanco manning the outfield. The Cubs are sending veteran lefty Jon Lester to the mound, who's been hit hard his last two starts. Freese has a .321 career average against Lester and is hitting .444 his last seven games. Consider him an under-the-radar option in daily fantasy today.--Mauricio Castillo
