Starling Marte Breaks His Slump With Four Hits
Miami Marlins outfielder Starling Marte broke his slump in a big way in Wednesday's win over the Philadelphia Phillies. Marte had been in a rough 0-for-20 slump, but went 4-for-6 with a run scored on Wednesday. All four of his hits were singles, but it brought his batting average back up to .302 and his OPS to .876. Marte was clearly scuffling before, so it was great to see him get on base. He even asked for the ball after his first hit.
