Spencer Torkelson Returns To Lineup
Detroit Tigers rookie first baseman Spencer Torkelson (head) is back at first base and is hitting seventh in the batting order on Sunday against Kansas City Royals right-hander Brady Singer. Torkelson sat out on Saturday after taking a pitch to the head in the series opener against KC, but he's apparently cleared the league's concussion protocol and is good to go for the series finale. The 22-year-old right-handed slugger hasn't performed very well in his first 218 major league at-bats, as he's hitting just .193/.285/.289 with four home runs, 16 RBI, 19 runs scored and 64 strikeouts in 249 plate appearances. Torkelson obviously isn't a must-start, even in much deeper fantasy formats.
