Spencer Dinwiddie Slows Down On Sunday
6 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard Spencer Dinwiddie wasn't able to continue his outstanding scoring spurt on Sunday against the Hawks, although he didn't play badly either, scoring 15 points on 3-for-8 shooting and dishing out five assists. Dinwiddie, who was 8-for-8 from the line, has been getting 30-plus minutes regularly lately, but it was a blowout and thus he finished with only 24 minutes, which was one of the reasons why he couldn't produce another 20-point night. He had even averaged 30.3 points in the previous three games, so Dinwiddie has been spectacular this month. His form will face a big test on Tuesday against the Lakers, who have limited point guards to only 39 percent shooting this season.
