Sony Michel Impresses In Practice
New England Patriots rookie running back Sony Michel impressed running backs coach Ivan Fears in practice on Monday. "Just what we expected. He was progressing well. I was really happy when we got the pads on, and got a chance to see him run a bit. It looks like he's going to be what we expected to be. ... I expect him to come back ready to go," Fears said. A first-round pick, Michel missed a lot of developmental time in training camp with an injury, but he should have a role to open the regular season. That role might not be very significant behind Rex Burkhead and James White, but his role could expand as the season progresses. Michel is a much better target in dynasty leagues, but he could also have RB3/flex value in redraft leagues, depending on his usage.
