Sony Michel Impresses In Practice
6 years agoNew England Patriots rookie running back Sony Michel impressed running backs coach Ivan Fears in practice on Monday. "Just what we expected. He was progressing well. I was really happy when we got the pads on, and got a chance to see him run a bit. It looks like he's going to be what we expected to be. ... I expect him to come back ready to go," Fears said. A first-round pick, Michel missed a lot of developmental time in training camp with an injury, but he should have a role to open the regular season. That role might not be very significant behind Rex Burkhead and James White, but his role could expand as the season progresses. Michel is a much better target in dynasty leagues, but he could also have RB3/flex value in redraft leagues, depending on his usage.
