Sonny Gray Takes First Loss Of 2020

Cincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray gutted his way through 5 1/3 innings in a 9-3 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers. Gray allowed four runs on six hits while striking out seven and walking three. It was an afternoon where he didn't have his best stuff but he did his best to keep his team in the game. Overall, Gray has a 3-1 record, 2.25 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, and 35 strikeouts across 24 innings of work. Sunday's outing aside, Gray has been a consistent asset both for the Cincinnati rotation and his fantasy owners this season. He will have a plus matchup against the Pittsburgh Pirates in his next start.
