2 years agoThe Minnesota Twins have optioned starting pitcher prospect Simeon Woods Richardson to Triple-A. Woods-Richardson, 22, was the big get from the Toronto Blue Jays for starting pitcher Jose Berrios a few seasons ago and made his big-league debut in one start for the Twins last season. Originally praised for his high velocity, Woods-Richardson has lost some ticks on the radar gun, but that has improved his command. Overall, Woods-Richardson is a name to monitor in both dynasty and redraft leagues for his potential, but can be ignored for now with him losing out on an Opening Day roster spot.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
