Should You Fade Tyler Reddick In DFS This Weekend?
10 months agoAfter winning the first Bluegreen Vacations Duel, Tyler Reddick earned the third starting position in Sunday's Daytona 500. Following a disastrous qualifying round on Wednesday, the Toyotas bounced back in a major way on Thursday night. Led by Reddick, a total of three Camrys raced their way to a top-10 starting position for Sunday's Great American Race. Despite this momentum, which carried over to Friday's practice session, Tyler Reddick's struggles at the World Center of Racing cannot be ignored. Out of his nine Cup starts at this track, the two-time Xfinity Series champion has wrecked out in five of them. Likewise, since 2022, the 28-year-old has averaged just 10.41 DraftKings points in races at Daytona, the eighth-worst average in the series. Considering he is a driver who has consistently struggled at this track and that he is simply starting too high in a race where place differential is so critical, it is best to fade the No. 45 this weekend in DFS.
