5 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani is not in the starting lineup against Blue Jays left-handed starting pitcher Clayton Richard on Thursday. Justin Upton is the designated hitter and is batting third, while David Fletcher is hitting leadoff and playing left field. Both Fletcher and Upton are solid DFS options against the very hittable Richard. Upton just returned from the injured list on June 19 and already has two home runs in his first nine at-bats. Ohtani was slow out of the gates after a delayed start to the year, but he is picking it up with the bat and is also running more often of late.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
