Shelby Miller Seeking Second Opinion On Elbow
Shelby Miller (elbow) is seeking a second opinion from Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who performed Tommy John surgery on Miller last year. All indications so far are that Miller hasn't suffered another tear of his ulnar collateral ligament. That's good news for Miller, but he's not out of the woods yet. Even if he avoid Tommy John surgery, it's likely he won't be returning anytime soon. The right-hander had an ugly 11.40 ERA and 2.07 WHIP in his four starts this year. He can safely be dropped in most leagues now.
