Shane Greene Nails Down 20th Save
6 years agoDetroit Tigers closer Shane Greene closed the door on the Kansas City Royals on Monday night, putting the final touches on a 5-4 comeback win for his 20th save of the year. Greene allowed just one hit and didn't walk or strike out anyone in the process. He is now 20-for-23 on save opportunities and this outing lowered his ERA to 3.86. Greene has been a consistently solid closer all season, and his high strikeout upside figure to keep him fantasy-relevant for the remainder of the year in all formats.
