Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Shines With A Triple-Double
3 years agoOklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a special performance in Wednesday's victory over Denver, becoming the first Thunder player since Russell Westbrook in 2018-19 to produce a triple-double in a home game. He led all scorers with 27 points and notched 11 rebounds and 12 assists. SGA couldn't hit a single three-pointer with seven attempts, but he was a perfect 7-for-7 at the line and finished with 10-for-24 overall shooting from the field. His night at the office included one steal, one block and one turnover in 37 minutes. The three-point bombs don't want to drop for Gilgeous-Alexander this month, but he's having a fine run by averaging 25 points a night for December. He carries a very high usage rate and that allows him to post good numbers even with inefficient shooting.
