Portland Trail Blazers guard Shaedon Sharpe (shoulder) is questionable for Thursday's matchup with the San Antonio Spurs. The 21-year-old has been sidelined with a labral tear and was expected to be out for 4-6 weeks. While it appears he could be nearing a return, there's still a chance that won't happen on Thursday night. But even if Sharpe is in uniform, he'll likely see reduced minutes while he works his way back. With that in mind, his potential absence should mean more minutes for guys like Scoot Henderson, Toumani Camara, and Rayan Rupert.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

Portland Trail Blazers guard Shaedon Sharpe (shoulder) suffered a posterior labral tear in his left shoulder. As a result, he's expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks. The 21-year-old averaged a career-high 15.9 points last season. However, he was limited to 32 games due to an abdominal injury, so the latest update on his health isn't ideal. Unfortunately, it's hard to justify him earning a spot in most fantasy formats to begin the 2024-25 campaign, especially since he was expected to come off the bench. With that in mind, Sharpe is worth monitoring throughout the year in case an injury to Anfernee Simons or Deni Avdija allows him to rejoin the starting unit.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

Portland Trail Blazers guard Shaedon Sharpe (abdomen) underwent successful core muscle surgery on Friday. He will be re-evaluated in six weeks. The 20-year-old hasn't played since mid-January. He appeared to be progressing. However, the Trail Blazers will be without him for a while. Sharpe averaged 15.9 points, 5.0 boards, and 2.9 assists in 32 games this season. Unfortunately, he hasn't stayed healthy. That said, until Sharpe is back in the lineup, Malcolm Brogdon and Scoot Henderson should absorb most of his minutes.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

Portland Trail Blazers guard Shaedon Sharpe (abdominal) is set to miss at least two weeks of action. Sharpe has missed each of the last two games before the Blazers decided to shut him down for the next two weeks. After that, Sharpe will be re-evaluated, but could continue to miss time after being looked at again. Kris Murray and Rayan Rupert have been seeing larger roles in the rotation. Murray could be a deep league option while Sharpe is sidelined. Malcolm Brogdon and Matisse Thybulle figure to gain the most value from the loss of Sharpe.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Portland Trail Blazers guard Shaedon Sharpe (groin) has been ruled out with groin soreness on Friday. After a dreadful 62-point loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, it looks like Sharpe will get the night off. He's had some rough shooting nights lately, which coincided with two losses by a total of 90 points. His last contest was cut short after playing 21 minutes, and that groin injury is what's bothering him in the second half of their back-to-back. Matisse Thybulle is the likely beneficiary from Sharpe's absence, but he produces a mixed bag of results whenever he gets added minutes. Kris Murray may also see some opportunities, but he wouldn't be a trustworthy streamer either.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
