7 months agoCarolina Hurricanes forward Seth Jarvis has signed an eight-year extension. The two parties came to an agreement on a $63.2 million pact. Jarvis was a restricted free agent. The 22-year-old cashes in on a big season. After amassing 79 points (31 goals, 48 assists) in his first two NHL campaigns, Jarvis notched 33 goals and 67 points in 81 outings last season. He added a team-best five goals and four assists in 11 playoff games. The Winnipeg-born forward still has a lot of room to grow as a player, and barring any injuries, Jarvis could get close to being a point-per-game player in 2024-25.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
