6 years agoTampa Bay Rays closer Sergio Romo did double duty Wednesday versus the Yankees. he would record 1 1/3 innings pitched, but not consecutively. The continuity of the outing was broken up as he was moved to third base for a batter before returning to the mound. He would record the final out of the game to pick up his 12th save of the season. Romo receives the majority of the save opportunities so he has value in most leagues that reward saves until such time as he either loses the job or is trsded to a team that does not have him close.--Jamie Mellor
