Sergei Pavlovich Dominates In Main Event
2 years agoAfter Saturday's main-event victory, Sergei Pavlovich finds himself as the heavyweight to beat after defeating Curtis Blaydes via first-round TKO. In 3:08 of action, Pavlovich tallied 36 significant strikes while only absorbing 14. The win gives Pavlovich a notch over a former title contender and gives him six straight first-round knockout/TKO wins in the UFC. He now finds himself on the very short list of title contenders for UFC heavyweight gold. The power is legitimate, especially when you can get a guy like Blaydes out in the first round.

Sergei Pavlovich Gets Knocked Out In The First Round
1 year agoSergei Pavlovich had his six-fight win streak snapped in the co-main event of UFC 295 on Saturday. Pavlovich was taking on Tom Aspinall for the interim heavyweight title. Right when the fight started, Pavlovich landed a big shot that appeared to have Aspinall hurt. Pavlovich dropped to 6-2 in the UFC and all eight of his fights have ended in the first round. The Russian will likely need to win another fight or two to get another crack at a UFC title.
