Seranthony Dominguez Locks Up Third Save
6 years agoAfter beginning his major league career with 12 consecutive scoreless appearances, Philadelphia Phillies reliever Seranthony Dominguez stumbled against the NL Central. Last week, he surrendered three runs in two appearances against the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs. On Tuesday night, he was thrown right back into the fire, entering the ninth inning at home with the Phillies trying to hang on to a slim lead against the Colorado Rockies. Before he entered, the bullpen allowed four consecutive singles to load the bases and cut the lead to three runs. While Dominguez allowed a single to the first batter he saw, he would retire the next three batters, recording his third save of the year.
