4 months agoChicago Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki had a big day in Thursday's victory versus the Baltimore Orioles. Suzuki went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, one triple and three RBI on the evening. The outfielder struggled earlier in the season at the dish, but has turned this on over the last month of the season. Over that span, Suzuki has .265 with five homers, 17 RBI and six stolen bases. The Cubs offense as a whole has been a major disappointment and the recent loss of Cody Bellinger (finger) weakens the lineup even more. Despite that, Suzuki should continue be a valuable member in all formats moving forward. Suzuki will look to keep it going on Friday in a tough matchup versus Sonny Gray and the rival St. Louis Cardinals.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
