6 years agoSeattle Seahawks kicker Sebastian Janikowski posted a perfect game in Week 2, including a bombed 56-yarder. Janikowski also punched through a pair of casual extra points, and the perfect outing marked his first clean game for Seattle. Janikowski also got some surprise time off during the game when he was replaced on a pair of kickoffs by punter Michael Dickson. Dickson used the antique approach of drop kicking the two kickoffs. The first was successful as it pinned the Bears deeper in their zone than standard kickoffs do. The second was an attempted onside affair with less than 15 seconds in the game that failed. Janikowski has never completed an onside kick successfully, so credit to the Seattle coaching staff for giving the new idea a shot. Janikowski should be one of the most productive offensive pieces for the Seahawks this year.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
