2 months agoSean O'Malley (18-2, one no-contest) suffered a lopsided decision loss to Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 306 on Saturday to lose his bantamweight title. O'Malley was looking to defend his belt for the second time, but he struggled to defend takedowns. 'Suga' was taken down six times and was controlled for over 10 minutes as the champ couldn't keep the fight on his feet or land anything with significance. With the loss, O'Malley lost his bantamweight title and is now 10-2 with a no-contest in the UFC. O'Malley is likely a win or two away from getting another title shot.--Cole Shelton
