Sean Murphy Undergoing MRI On Right Hamstring
1 year agoAtlanta Braves catcher Sean Murphy (hamstring) will undergo an MRI after Saturday's win over the Colorado Rockies on his right hamstring. According to Braves manager Brian Snitker, Murphy is getting an MRI at a local hospital, and the Braves should know the severity of his injury Saturday night. The 28-year-old is considered day-to-day. He is having a terrific season in 2023, slashing .287/.385/.535 with 12 home runs, 42 RBI, and 33 runs across 57 games. Travis d'Arnaud would handle catching duties for the Braves if Murphy were to miss any time.
