2 years agoWashington Nationals left-hander Sean Doolittle (elbow) will be undergoing season-ending UCL surgery. It will be an internal brace procedure to repair the UCL in the elbow of his throwing arm. His projected recovery timeline is five-to-six months, meaning that there's a chance he'll be ready to return to the mound by next spring. The 35-year-old made just six appearances this year, all coming in April.
