The Seattle Seahawks are hiring Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Mike MacDonald to be the organization's next head coach. Long-time head coach Pete Carroll agreed to step down after 14 years at the helm, and Seattle zeroes in on MacDonald after the Ravens were eliminated from the playoffs. The 36-year-old will become the youngest active head coach in the NFL, but he had an incredible 2023 season. His Baltimore defensive unit faced the four NFC West teams this season, and the Ravens went 4-0 and forced nine turnovers in those contests. He'll now have the task of matching up with Kyle Shanahan and Sean McVay twice a year for the foreseeable future. MacDonald was on the Ravens' staff for nine years across two stints and is viewed as the next up-and-coming coach on the defensive side of the ball.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBallerRead More News
