Seahawks D/ST Is Not Viable In Week 7
1 month agoThe Seattle Seahawks defense/special teams is at risk of scoring negative points in Week 7 against a potent Atlanta Falcons offense. While it sounds like the Seahawks will have defensive tackle Byron Murphy II (hamstring) back this weekend, they are still down several key starters and just placed safety Rayshawn Jenkins (hand) on injured reserve. After opening the season with three straight fantasy-relevant games, the unit has faltered. The Falcons' offense has found its footing with Kirk Cousins under center. They have scored at least 36 points in two straight games after scoring 26 or less in each of the previous four games. The Seahawks have defensive genius Mike Macdonald at the helm so they could turn things around, but they will need to get healthy first. As such, this is not the week to insert them into your lineup.
