5 years agoScottie Scheffler is quickly making his presence known on the PGA Tour. The 23-year-old rookie recorded his best finish as a professional with a third-place finish at the American Express last week. Scheffler is an explosive scorer that currently ranks second on the PGA Tour in birdie average. The former Texas Longhorn was the 2019 points leader on the Korn Ferry Tour and appears set to make a strong run at rookie of the year honors. He's in the field for this week's Farmers Insurance Open. It will be his first-career start in the event.
