Scottie Barnes Goes For 12 And Nine In NBA Debut

Toronto Raptors rookie forward Scottie Barnes made his NBA debut against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday. The team gave him a hefty amount of playing time as he was in the starting five and he logged 33 minutes, third-most on the team. He went on to compile 12 points, nine rebounds, one assist, one steal and six turnovers. He shot 5-for-13 from the field and missed his only three-point attempt in the game. Barnes has tantalizing upside for fantasy purposes. He's a phenomenal passer and he has great defensive and rebounding instincts. His shooting is a big question, but he should provide a variety of counting stats for fantasy managers throughout his first year in the NBA.
