Scott Stallings seemingly came out of nowhere to finish T2 at the Sanderson Farms Championship back in October. Aside from that event, it has been ugly for the OWGR No. 119. He hasn't finished inside of the top-25 since the WM Phoenix Open in February of 2023, and he's missed the cut in over 50 percent of his 25 starts during that span. Statistically, Stallings doesn't quite the fit the mold for success this week either, as he ranks 77th in driving distance 68th in approach from 200 yards and beyond over the last 36 rounds. He also missed the cut in his only start here back in 2022. Fantasy managers have a bevvy of course horses around Stallings' DraftKings price tag and would be wise to limit their exposure to him this week.--Ryan Hickey

Scott Stallings looked good at Sanderson Farms a couple weeks ago. He did falter a bit on Sunday with a 73 but still a top-15 result was more than respectable. The American golfer wound up ranked 48th after the FedEx Cup. Now, this week's Zozo Championship comes from Chiba, Japan. It is the fourth tournament of the season. He is a bit of a long shot but Stallings drove the ball well enough and was able to get himself out of trouble often. If the American can keep hitting greens around 70% in regulation, he could thrive in Japan this weekend. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

After a streak of four consecutive top-15 finishes, Scott Stallings' magical run came to an abrupt end at the FedEx St. Jude. He missed the cut and lost strokes off the tee on approach and putting. It was the first time Stallings has missed the cut since the U.S. Open back in June. Stallings sits 47th in the FedEx Cup standings and is in need of a big week to qualify for the Tour Championship at East Lake. He has been playing some great golf leading up to the playoffs, but his performance last week is concerning. Stallings is one of the cheapest players in most DFS formats and will not be heavily owned, given the loaded field teeing it up this week. It could just be one bad week, but there are better players in this field who offer more upside.--Dalton Finkbeiner - RotoBaller

Another tournament, another top-15 finish for Scott Stallings. Stallings is coming off a 13th-place finish at the Wyndham Championship last week, marking his fourth straight top-15 finish in a row. There is a lot to love about Stallings' game right now, particularly his iron play. Stallings has gained strokes on approach in four straight events and has translated that into his best stretch of golf this year. He sits 41st in the FedEx Cup standings, positioning himself well to reach The Tour Championship at East Lake. We have seen players get hot in the FedEx Cup playoffs, most notably Billy Horschel in 2015. Stallings is displaying a lot of signs of a player who could go on a run in the postseason. Stallings' hot stretch has not gone unnoticed, which is resulting in higher than expected ownership in DFS. He's playing some great golf, but DFS players may need to deal with him being a chalk pick.--Dalton Finkbeiner - RotoBaller

The only player on the PGA Tour playing better than Scott Stallings over the past three weeks is Tony Finau. Stallings has recorded three consecutive top-10 finishes, securing a 10th-place finish last week at the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit. Stallings has been lights-out from tee-to-green and has positioned himself well heading into the FedEx Cup playoffs, currently sitting 44th overall. He has played his event the past five years, making the cut twice over that time. His lack of success at this event is a slight concern, but Stallings' recent play cannot be ignored, and Sedgefield Country Club doesn't typically play tough. Stallings is a very appealing DFS play, especially in a field that lacks high-end talent. He is also a solid outright bet given his number on the betting market, and he could grab his first PGA Tour win since 2014.--Dalton Finkbeiner - RotoBaller
