6 years agoKansas City Royals manager Ned Yost is reportedly considering an opener for Wednesday night's game against the Seattle Mariners at Kauffman Stadium. The decision will reportedly be made after Tuesday's game, with bullpen usage likely to be a factor. Glenn Sparkman is also considered a candidate to pitch in the game, perhaps for deeper into the game. Barlow has appeared in just one game this season, surrendering a run on two hits in less than an inning of work. Sparkman, meanwhile, was just recalled from Triple-A Omaha.--RDelgado
