Satoshi Kodaira Misses the Cut at The AT&T Byron Nelson
7 years agoSatoshi Kodaira shot a two-over par at the AT&T Byron Nelson, missing the cut by six strokes. Since Kodaira's win at the RBC Heritage in April, he has missed two consecutive PGA Tour cuts. Kodaira's around the green game has been putrid for weeks, and it doesn't appear to be turning around anytime soon. Kodaira lost 2.464 strokes around the green this week, making it six straight tournaments he has lost strokes to the field. He even shockingly managed to lose 1.7 strokes during his unexpected RBC Heritage victory. The 29th-ranked player in the world will tee it up again this week at the Fort Worth Invitational. Kodaira has settled into an under five percent owned player weekly. Like always, his high ranking and low ownership will make him intriguing, but in reality, he is nothing more than a shot in the dark contrarian selection. Kodaira will have success sporadically, but it is anyone's guess when and how often we will see it.
