3 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) was carted to the locker room in the first quarter of the team's Week 5 game against the Dallas Cowboys. He turned his ankle awkwardly while stepping on the foot of Dallas Cowboys defensive back Jourdan Lewis. He limped off the field and went straight to the sidelines where trainers removed his cleat and sock, revealing an extremely swollen ankle. Shortly after that, he was helped onto a cart and taken to the locker room. He will not return to the game.
