Samaje Perine Impressing This Spring
5 years agoWashington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden said that running back Samaje Perine has been the most impressive back in spring practices. The 23-year-old was active for only five games in 2018 and had eight rushing attempts after running the ball 175 times for 603 yards and a score in his rookie season. Ball-security issues have really plagued Perine early in his career, and he's also buried on the depth chart behind Derrius Guice, Adrian Peterson and Chris Thompson. Perine would need an injury or two ahead of him to have some intrigue in fantasy.
