3 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Sam Darnold struggled mightily in Sunday's loss to the Patriots. Facing a familiar foe, Darnold saw the ghosts of old, tossing three interceptions against Bill Belichick's defense, one of which was returned 88 yards for a score. The 24-year-old was on the injury report all week with a shoulder injury and concussion, though the team thought he was healthy enough to suit up, so it was simply a poor performance by the former Jet. Darnold figures to remain the starter, but things won't get any easier for him in Week 10 against an Arizona defense that has allowed the third-fewest fantasy points per game to signal callers.--Tim Capurso
