New York Jets rookie quarterback Sam Darnold (foot) has a walking boot on his right foot and is not practicing on Wednesday. Darnold said he was "fine" on Monday after admitting after the Week 9 loss that he was "dinged up." That wouldn't seem to bode well for Darnold's chances of playing in Week 10 against the Bills, but we'll have to see whether he can return to practice later this week. Darnold tossed four interceptions in Week 9 and leads the NFL with 14 through nine games. He doesn't have many weapons around him, so it's not entirely his fault, but he can't be trusted as anything more than a low-end QB2. Veteran Josh McCown would be forced into action if Darnold can't play this weekend.--Keith Hernandez
