Salvador Perez Homers In Royals Loss Sunday
4 years agoKansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 7-3 loss to the Rangers. Perez's home run put the first runs on the board for Kansas City in the sixth inning, as the Royals failed to complete the sweep of the Rangers. After a good Spring Training performance in which he slashed .350/.409/.650 with three home runs in 17 games, Perez is now 3-for-13 with a double, a home run and three RBI to start the year. Perez set career-highs with a .333 average and .986 OPS in 37 games last year, and he looks to be one of the top fantasy catchers going forward.
