"Safe to Say" Nick Foles Will Remain an Eagle
7 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson told ESPN reporter Sal Paolantonio that it is now "safe to say" that Super Bowl MVP quarterback Nick Foles will remain with the team for the start of the 2018 season. There were plenty of rumors swirling that Foles would be traded this offseason, but the Eagles reportedly never received a trade offer they even seriously considered. Carson Wentz (knee) is expected to be back for Week 1, but there's always a chance of a setback in his recovery, and Foles makes for one of the best backups in the league.
