Saddiq Bey Exits With Injury Friday
2 years agoDetroit Pistons forward Saddiq Bey rolled his right ankle and couldn't complete Friday's contest against the Lakers. He was hurt in the fourth quarter and needed help to get to the locker room, so it's not looking good, although Bey hasn't yet been ruled out for Sunday's trip to Sacramento. Bey is one of Detroit's leaders, although he has been slumping lately and didn't have a great night on Friday either, scoring only four points in 21 minutes and picking up three rebounds and two assists. The Pistons already have Cade Cunningham (shin) and Isaiah Stewart (toe) on the shelf, so losing Bey would be a bitter blow. Alec Burks, who led the team with 23 points Friday, should start to see more opportunities off the bench if Bey is forced to spend some time on the sidelines
