5 years agoWashington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman (foot) resumed baseball activities on Monday and will join the team on their road trip this week and resume running. Zimmerman has been out since April 27 and still doesn't have a timetable for his return. He was hitting a measly .213/.302/.373 with three homers and 11 RBI in 75 at-bats before his injury, too, so he belongs on waivers in all mixed leagues at this point. When he does return, he'll likely platoon at first base with lefty Matt Adams, further limiting his fantasy appeal in deeper leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
