Ryan Yarbrough Struggles In Loss Sunday
4 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Ryan Yarbrough struggled on Sunday afternoon, allowing six runs — five earned — on five hits and one walk, while striking out four in four innings of work against the Braves. It was Yarbrough's worst start of the spring, as he had entered the day having allowed just three hits, one walk and a hit by pitch in his first 4 1/3 innings of work. Yarbrough had an OK season for Tampa Bay in 2020, posting a 3.56 ERA with an 18.8 percent strikeout rate and 5.1 percent walk rate in 55 2/3 innings of work. In 12-team or deeper leagues he's worth targeting as a late-round guy with decent strikeouts and a solid ERA.
