5 years agoThe Chicago Cubs signed free-agent relief pitcher Ryan Tepera to a one-year contract. The deal will pay him $900,000 if he is on the big league roster and $300,000 if he is in the minor leagues. Tepera wasn't great in 2018, posting a 4.98 ERA for Toronto, but he had a solid 3.49 ERA for four years before that. He should settle into a middle-relief role in the Cubs bullpen, but he won't have much, if any at all, fantasy value.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
