Ryan Tannehill Could Be Done For The Season
2 years agoAccording to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle) recently underwent surgery after re-injuring his ankle in Week 15 against the Chargers. The signal-caller is hoping to return and has already started rehab, so there's a chance he will make it back this season. However, Schefter added that it's a "long shot" Tannehill will see the field again in 2022-23. As a result, Malik Willis could lead the offense for the remainder of the year. The rookie has appeared in seven games during his inaugural campaign, throwing 177 yards and an interception while completing just 44.7% of his throws. That said, Derrick Henry may see additional work with Willis under center. At the same time, Robert Woods, Treylon Burks (concussion), and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine could struggle even more moving ahead.
