Ryan Reaves Leaves Early Tuesday
8 months agoToronto Maple Leafs forward Ryan Reaves left Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers early with an undisclosed ailment. The enforcer fought Flyers forward Nicolas Deslauriers early in the first period and departed the penalty box with what looked like a swollen right eye and went to the Maple Leafs' locker room. He was also seen connecting with the helmet of Deslauriers numerous times in the bout, potentially injuring his hand. The 37-year-old has recorded three goals and four points along with 124 hits and 39 penalty minutes in 39 games on the season, skating an average of 8:11 in that time. He has been in and out of the lineup as a healthy scratch for much of the season.
